About Darjeeling Walks
Darjeeling Walks was created for travellers who believe that the best way to understand a place is on foot. Walking through old hill roads, forest trails, tea gardens, and quiet villages allows Darjeeling to reveal itself slowly—through stories, people, landscapes, and everyday life that often remain hidden from hurried itineraries.
Our walks are designed around heritage, nature, culture, and photography, keeping pace with the rhythm of the hills. Whether it is a morning stroll through colonial-era neighbourhoods, a walk across tea estates, or a forest trail inside a wildlife sanctuary, each experience is unhurried, immersive, and rooted in local knowledge.
Darjeeling Walks is operated by NBTT Travel Solution Pvt. Ltd., a locally based tour operator with over 20 years of experience in the Darjeeling–Sikkim–Eastern Himalaya region. While NBTT manages logistics, permissions, and safety, Darjeeling Walks remains focused on what matters most—authentic walking experiences led by people who know these hills intimately. NBTT is recognised by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, as well as by the Department of Tourism, Government of West Bengal. We are members of major tourism associations such as IATO, ADTOI, HHTDN, EHTTOA and TAAB.
All our walks are carefully planned, factually accurate, and sensitive to local communities and environments. We work closely with local guides, forest authorities, and residents to ensure that our walks are respectful, legal, and meaningful.
